Location: Nashik, Maharashtra, India (This role typically involves significant field travel within Nashik and surrounding regions, and occasionally PAN India as needed).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales & Service Engineer to join our team in Nashik. This dual-focused role is critical for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, while simultaneously ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent technical support, installation, and after-sales service. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our complex technical products/solutions and customer needs, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and qualify sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and leveraging technical knowledge to propose relevant solutions [1.1, 1.4].
Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the value and technical aspects of our products/services to potential customers [1.3, 4.2].
Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts to close deals [1.3, 3.1].
Generate new business by following up on leads, researching target clients, and managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing [3.1].
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities [1.3].
Technical Support & Service:
Provide pre-sales technical support by answering technical inquiries, participating in sales meetings, and assisting customers with product selection and configuration [1.3].
Offer post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and providing effective solutions for product-related problems [1.2, 1.3, 3.3].
Perform installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of products/equipment at customer sites as required [3.3, 4.2].
Conduct product training for clients on-site or remotely to ensure proper usage and satisfaction [1.3, 3.3].
Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for complex technical issues and present findings to management [3.3].
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers, acting as a trusted advisor [1.3, 4.1].
Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely resolution of technical issues and proactive communication [3.2].
Collect customer feedback and market insights to contribute to product development and marketing efforts [1.3, 3.3].
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and service requests in CRM systems [3.2, 4.4].
Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and application trends [3.1].
