Job Summary:
The Sales Officer / Assistant Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales of our [products/services] within the assigned territory in Nashik and surrounding areas. This role involves identifying and acquiring new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, achieving sales targets, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, highly motivated, and possess excellent negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
Sales Generation: Actively identify, prospect, and acquire new customers/clients for [mention products/services, e.g., loans, consumer goods, vehicles, insurance policies].
Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with customers through regular follow-ups, understanding their needs, and providing excellent service.
Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our [products/services], features, benefits, and competitive advantages to effectively present them to potential clients.
Market Research: Conduct basic market research to identify new sales opportunities, understand customer preferences, and analyze competitor activities within the assigned territory.
Lead Management: Generate leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, field visits, networking, references) and effectively manage the sales pipeline.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Documentation: Complete all necessary sales-related documentation accurately and in a timely manner (e.g., application forms, sales reports, customer details).
Cross-selling/Up-selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell additional products/services to existing customers.
Payment Collection (if applicable): Assist in follow-ups for timely payment collection as per company policies.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, activity reports, and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to sales activities.
Local Market Focus: Leverage knowledge of the local market and customer base in Nashik to tailor sales approaches.
