The Sales & Marketing Executive is a dynamic, dual-focused role responsible for both generating revenue through sales and building brand awareness through marketing efforts. This position ensures that the company's products or services reach the right target audience and convert leads into paying customers.
π Key Responsibilities and Duties
The job requires a balance of strategic thinking (marketing) and direct execution (sales).
1. Sales Generation and Account Management π―
Lead Generation: Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and market research.
Sales Pitches: Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, clearly communicating the value proposition.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contract terms, finalize agreements, and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and drive repeat business.
2. Marketing Strategy and Execution π
Market Research: Conduct thorough research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales and marketing strategies.
Campaign Development: Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, print, events) to promote the brand and generate qualified leads.
Content Creation: Contribute to the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, case studies, email newsletters, and website content.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute participation in promotional events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company's network and visibility.
3. Reporting and Documentation π
Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales targets, campaign effectiveness, and lead conversion rates.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and budgets in collaboration with management.
