Responsibilities:
New Business Development & Lead Generation:
Actively prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, door-to-door visits, networking, referrals, and participation in local events/exhibitions.
Identify potential customers within the assigned territory or industry segment who can benefit from our offerings.
Client Meetings & Presentations:
Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product/service demonstrations, effectively highlighting features, benefits, and value proposition tailored to the client's specific needs.
Needs Assessment & Solution Selling:
Perform thorough needs assessments to identify client pain points and propose relevant, customized solutions that address their business objectives.
Clearly articulate how our products/services can solve their problems and provide a competitive advantage.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
Prepare and submit accurate quotations and proposals in a timely manner.
Negotiate terms and conditions of sales, overcoming objections, and skillfully close sales deals to achieve revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business/referrals.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing excellent post-sales support in coordination with relevant teams.
Market Coverage & Expansion:
Ensure extensive market coverage within the assigned territory, identifying new areas for growth and market penetration.
Gather competitive intelligence, market trends, and customer feedback from the field to inform sales strategies.
Sales Reporting & CRM Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system (or manual reports, as per company policy).
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports on time.
Target Achievement:
Consistently meet or exceed individual monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Local Communication:
Communicate clearly, persuasively, and professionally with clients and internal teams. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for building rapport and engaging effectively with the local market. Basic English proficiency is also required for formal communication and documentation.
