Responsibilities:
Literature Review & Background Research:
Conduct thorough literature searches and reviews to gather relevant background information for research projects.
Summarize key findings from academic papers, reports, and other sources.
Data Collection:
Assist in designing and developing data collection instruments (e.g., surveys, questionnaires, interview protocols).
Collect data through various methods, which may include conducting interviews, administering surveys, performing experiments, observing phenomena, or extracting information from existing databases.
Ensure data collection adheres to ethical guidelines and project protocols.
Data Entry & Management:
Accurately enter collected data into spreadsheets, databases, or specialized software.
Organize, clean, and manage research data, ensuring its integrity and accessibility.
Data Analysis (Basic):
Perform basic statistical or qualitative data analysis under the guidance of the lead researcher.
Generate charts, graphs, and tables to visually represent data findings.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain meticulous records of research activities, methodologies, and findings.
Assist in drafting research reports, presentations, academic papers, and other project deliverables.
Prepare and organize research materials and equipment.
Lab/Field Support (if applicable):
Set up and maintain laboratory equipment or fieldwork tools.
Assist in conducting experiments, tests, or field observations according to established protocols.
Ensure proper handling and storage of samples or equipment.
Ethical Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all research ethics, confidentiality protocols, and data privacy regulations.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate effectively with the research team, supervisors, and external partners.
Communicate research progress, challenges, and findings clearly and concisely. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for local fieldwork (if applicable) and team communication. Good English proficiency is crucial for literature review, report writing, and engaging with academic/technical content.
