Job Summary:
The Purchase cum Store Executive will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to vendor selection and order placement, as well as overseeing the efficient operation of the company's store/warehouse. This hybrid role requires strong negotiation skills, meticulous inventory management, attention to detail, and a focus on ensuring timely availability of materials while optimizing costs.
Responsibilities:
Procurement & Purchasing:
Receive and review purchase requisitions from various departments.
Source and evaluate potential vendors/suppliers based on price, quality, delivery speed, and reliability.
Obtain competitive quotations and conduct negotiations to secure the best terms and prices.
Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.
Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies or delays with suppliers.
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential vendors.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
Prepare purchase reports, including cost analysis and vendor performance.
Store/Warehouse Management:
Oversee the receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of all incoming materials, goods, and finished products.
Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and organization of inventory for easy retrieval and optimal space utilization.
Maintain accurate inventory records using a manual system or inventory management software.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records (stock verification/audits) to minimize discrepancies.
Manage incoming and outgoing material dispatches, ensuring proper documentation (e.g., GRN - Goods Receipt Note, Gate Pass, Material Issue Note).
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase department to reorder materials to avoid stockouts while minimizing overstocking.
Implement and enforce safety procedures within the store/warehouse area, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment.
Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock.
General & Coordination:
Coordinate effectively with production, sales, finance, and other departments regarding material requirements, delivery schedules, and inventory status.
Resolve any issues related to material quality, quantity, or delivery with suppliers and internal teams.
Maintain all relevant procurement and store documentation meticulously.

Experience 1 - 3 Years
Salary 2 Lac To 3 Lac P.A.
