Key Responsibilities and Duties - Machine Technician
Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance checks, lubrication, belt replacements, and component cleaning on machinery according to the standard service calendar.
Breakdown Troubleshooting: Respond quickly to assembly line breakdowns. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic faults and carry out precision repairs.
Installation & Setup: Assist engineering teams in installing, assembling, and aligning new machinery, motors, conveyors, or utility lines.
Spare Parts Management: Inspect worn-out parts, perform minor fabrications/overhauls, and maintain a log of required spare parts to keep inventory ready.
Safety & Documentation: Follow strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures before working on heavy machinery. Maintain accurate logs of daily maintenance and breakdown repairs.
