Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics Executive to oversee the movement, distribution, and storage of materials, products, and supplies. The role involves coordinating with vendors, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective logistics operations while maintaining compliance with company and government regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Manage transportation, warehousing, and inventory control activities.
Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods to customers or branches.
Prepare and maintain logistics documents such as e-way bills, GRNs, challans, and invoices.
Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and warehouse teams for shipment tracking and scheduling.
Optimize logistics costs and delivery timelines through route planning and load management.
Handle import/export documentation (if applicable) and ensure regulatory compliance.
Maintain records of stock movement, logistics KPIs, and daily reports.
Resolve logistics issues and discrepancies efficiently.
Support the procurement and finance teams with freight billing and reconciliation.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Zoho Inventory).
Knowledge of transport documentation, e-way bills, and GST compliance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Problem-solving attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
Time management and multitasking ability.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, or trading industries.
Exposure to inventory management, dispatch planning, or vendor management.
Working knowledge of fleet management and transport tracking systems.
