Core ResponsibilitiesYour day is split between being on the road and managing your sales pipeline.1. Territory & Lead ManagementProspecting: Identifying new business opportunities within your assigned area through door-knocking, referrals, and local networking.Route Planning: Using GPS and CRM tools to plan the most efficient daily travel route to maximize client face-time.Lead Qualification: Quickly assessing if a prospect has the budget and need for your product before committing to a long visit.2. In-Person Sales & DemosPresentations: Conducting live product demonstrations at the client's office, home, or job site.Consultative Selling: Listening to the clients specific pain points and tailoring your pitch to show exactly how your product solves their problem.Negotiation: Finalizing pricing, contract terms, and closing the deal on-site whenever possible.3. Relationship & Account ManagementClient Retention: Visiting existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling (selling more expensive items) or cross-selling (selling related products).Feedback Loop: Acting as the eyes and ears of the company by reporting back on competitor activity and market trends you see in the field.4. Digital ReportingCRM Updates: Using mobile apps (like Salesforce or HubSpot) to log every meeting, call, and outcome in real-time.Reporting: Preparing daily or weekly reports on sales targets vs. actual achievement.
