Responsibilities:
Data Input & Entry:
Accurately enter data from various sources (e.g., physical forms, scanned documents, handwritten notes, audio recordings, digital files, web forms) into designated computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets.
Process large volumes of information quickly and accurately, adhering to specified formats and guidelines.
Data Verification & Quality Control:
Verify the accuracy and completeness of entered data by comparing it against source documents or performing cross-checks.
Identify and correct data discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies.
Perform routine data quality checks to ensure data integrity.
Record Keeping & Organization:
Maintain organized physical and digital records of all source documents and entered data.
Ensure proper filing, archiving, and retrieval of documents as per company procedures.
Assist in managing electronic files and folder structures.
Confidentiality:
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism, strictly adhering to data protection policies.
Document Preparation:
Prepare basic reports, summaries, or statistical data from entered information as required by the supervisor.
Assist in preparing data for presentations or further analysis.
Communication & Coordination:
Communicate effectively with team members or supervisors to clarify ambiguous data, resolve discrepancies, or obtain missing information.
Report any system issues or data entry challenges encountered.
Adherence to Procedures:
Strictly follow established data entry procedures, guidelines, and company policies.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Local Communication:
Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for daily workplace interactions. Basic English proficiency may be beneficial for understanding software interfaces or certain documents.
