Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations & Service Delivery
Manage day-to-day branch service desk operations, including cash processing, clearing operations, demand drafts, and general ledger reconciliation.
Process account opening documentation, service requests, locker allocations, and electronic fund transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS).
Deliver high-quality customer service, handling HNI and retail client queries, service requests, and escalations promptly within established turnaround times (TAT).
Cross-Selling & Portfolio Growth
Identify financial needs of existing account holders and cross-sell HDFC Bank’s core product suit: Savings & Current Accounts (CASA), Fixed/Recurring Deposits, Debit/Credit Cards, and Personal/Business Loans.
Support the distribution of third-party products, including Mutual Funds (NISM), Life Insurance, General Insurance, and wealth solutions.
Collaborate with internal relationship teams to meet monthly branch portfolio expansion targets.
Audit, Risk & Statutory Compliance
Ensure 100% compliance with internal HDFC Bank operational policies, KYC/AML mandates, and RBI guidelines.
Coordinate internal, statutory, and concurrent branch audits with a target of zero high-risk audit observations.
Maintain complete data accuracy, physical voucher management, and documentation integrity across desk operations.
Team Coordination & Administrative Operations
Supervise, support, and guide frontline staff and customer service executives in routine desk operations.
Ensure smooth functionality of branch infrastructure, including cash counting equipment, passbook printers, and self-service kiosks.
