As an Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You'll contribute to the accurate and timely reporting of financial information, supporting management in financial decision-making and ensuring the company's financial integrity. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and trial balance.
Record and reconcile financial transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Ensure all financial data is correctly categorized and posted in the accounting system.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing customers, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding dues.
Prepare and process expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Bank & Cash Management:
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal cash records.
Manage cash flow, including monitoring daily cash balances and supporting cash forecasts.
Oversee petty cash transactions and reimbursements.
Statutory Compliance & Taxation:
Prepare and file various tax returns, including GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and Professional Tax, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (e.g., Indian Accounting Standards - Ind AS, AS) and other statutory regulations.
Assist in preparing data and documentation for internal and external audits.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Generate various financial reports and analyses as required by management to support decision-making.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ad-hoc Support:
Support the senior finance team with special projects, financial analysis, and other duties as assigned.
Implement and improve internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

Experience 2 - 3 Years
Salary 2 Lac 50 Thousand To 3 Lac P.A.
