The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing various financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves a wide range of accounting duties, from daily transaction processing to assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping & General Ledger:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journals, and subsidiary ledgers.
Record daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries, ensuring proper classification.
Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments and expense management.
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, tracking payments, and assisting with collections to ensure timely cash flow.
Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
Taxation & Compliance:
Assist in the accurate computation and timely filing of all statutory returns, including GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and other applicable taxes.
Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) or relevant accounting principles.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of various financial reports, including trial balances, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all entries are accurate and reconciled.
Generate ad-hoc financial reports as required by management.
Fixed Assets Management:
Maintain the fixed asset register, including recording acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and improvements within the accounting function.
Assist in the implementation of new accounting procedures or systems.

Experience 2 - 3 Years
Salary 2 Lac To 3 Lac P.A.
