Responsibilities:
I. Sales & Business Development:
New Client Acquisition:
Actively identify, research, and prospect new sales opportunities and potential clients within Latur and its surrounding areas.
Generate leads through various channels including cold calling, field visits, networking, referrals, and participation in local community/trade events.
Client Meetings & Presentations:
Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product/service demonstrations, effectively highlighting features, benefits, and our unique value proposition.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
Prepare accurate quotations and proposals tailored to client needs.
Negotiate terms and conditions, overcome objections, and skillfully close sales deals to achieve individual sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business/referrals.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving minor issues, and providing excellent post-sales support in coordination with relevant teams.
Sales Reporting & Pipeline Management:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system (or manual reports).
Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts on time.
II. Marketing & Brand Promotion:
Local Marketing Campaign Execution:
Assist in the planning and execution of local marketing campaigns and promotional activities (e.g., in-store promotions, local branding initiatives, pamphlet distribution, canopy setups, local print ads).
Coordinate and participate in local events, exhibitions, and customer engagement programs to promote our brand and offerings.
Market Intelligence & Feedback:
Gather market intelligence on customer preferences, competitor activities, and new market opportunities within the territory.
Collect direct customer feedback on products/services and marketing initiatives to inform strategies.
Marketing Material Management:
Assist in developing and distributing marketing materials (brochures, flyers, posters) tailored for the local market, ensuring they are always available and up-to-date.
Ensure brand consistency across all local marketing touchpoints.
Brand Visibility Enhancement:
Implement strategies to enhance brand visibility and awareness in the assigned territory.
Contribute ideas for local-specific marketing activities that resonate with the Latur audience.
III. General & Communication:
Coordinate effectively with the core sales team for lead handover and follow-ups.
Liaise with the central marketing team (if applicable) to ensure local activities align with broader marketing strategies.
Communicate clearly and persuasively with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for effective local interaction and understanding regional nuances. Good English proficiency is required for documentation, email communication, and interaction with a broader professional network.
