📋 The Sales Executive (The Player)
A Sales Executive is an individual contributor on the front lines. Their primary job is to find, nurture, and close individual deals.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Actively hunting for new business through cold calling, LinkedIn networking, and attending industry events.
Presentations & Demos: Conducting high-energy product demonstrations tailored to solve a specific client problem.
Negotiation: Handling pricing discussions and objection handling (answering why a client shouldn't say no).
Closing: Converting a Maybe into a signed contract and a payment.
CRM Management: Keeping a meticulous digital log of every phone call and email to ensure no lead is forgotten.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
Sales Quota: The specific dollar amount of sales made per month.
Conversion Rate: The percentage of leads that actually buy.
