As an ITI Technician Machine Maintenance & Production, you'll play a dual role crucial to our manufacturing success. You'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of production machinery to minimize downtime. Additionally, you'll operate machines, monitor production quality, and ensure that manufacturing processes run efficiently and safely according to established standards.
Responsibilities
Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on various production machines and equipment [mention types of machines if specific, e.g., lathes, milling machines, CNC machines, presses, assembly lines].
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues quickly and effectively.
Execute minor repairs and component replacements (e.g., bearings, belts, motors, sensors) to restore machine functionality.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts used.
Coordinate with senior technicians or external vendors for major repairs or specialized interventions.
Production Operations:
Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet daily production targets.
Monitor machine performance, product quality, and process parameters continuously.
Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure product specifications are met and optimize efficiency.
Perform in-process quality checks and report any deviations or defects immediately.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials/components into machines.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental guidelines.
Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly.
Ensure a clean and organized work area, following 5S principles.
Documentation & Reporting:
Complete daily production logs, maintenance checklists, and shift reports accurately.
Document any production issues, machine breakdowns, or quality deviations.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with other technicians, operators, supervisors, and production staff to ensure seamless operations.
Participate in shift handovers, providing clear and concise updates.
