This role often involves managing a team, external agencies, and a substantial marketing budget.
📈 Key Responsibilities and Duties
The duties cover four primary areas: Strategy, Execution, Analysis, and Leadership.
1. Strategy and Planning
Develop Strategy: Formulate comprehensive digital marketing strategies across all platforms (web, social, email, search) to align with overall business objectives and marketing goals.
Budget Management: Manage and allocate the digital marketing budget effectively across various channels (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, content creation).
Customer Journey Mapping: Identify target audiences and define the best digital channels and content strategies to engage them through the marketing and sales funnels.
2. Execution and Management
SEO/SEM: Oversee the strategy and execution of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve organic search rankings and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)/PPC campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
Content & Social Media: Manage the creation and distribution of engaging content (blogs, videos, graphics) and supervise social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Email Marketing: Design and execute email campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and automation, to nurture leads and retain customers.
Website Management: Ensure the website is optimized for performance (speed, responsiveness), SEO, and user experience (UX/UI).
3. Analytics and Reporting
Performance Tracking: Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Tools Proficiency: Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and platform-specific insights to gain actionable customer and campaign data.
Optimization: Conduct regular A/B testing and multivariate experiments to continually optimize landing pages, ad copy, and campaign structures for better conversion rates (CRO).
4. Leadership and Collaboration
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the internal digital marketing team or external agency partners.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Sales, Product Development, and IT teams to ensure brand consistency and seamless customer experience.
