A Digital Marketing Sales Executive is a hybrid role responsible for selling the company's suite of digital marketing services and solutions (SEO, PPC, social media, web design, etc.) to prospective clients, acting as the bridge between client business goals and the company's technical delivery teams.
I. Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Sales Executive is tasked with prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing new business by effectively communicating the value and return on investment (ROI) of digital marketing services. This role requires a strong understanding of the digital landscape, consultative selling skills, and the ability to build a robust pipeline.
II. Key Responsibilities
A. Sales and Business Development
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social selling, and inbound lead follow-up.
Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client business challenges, target audience, and marketing objectives.
Solution Presentation: Develop and present tailored, compelling proposals and pitch decks that outline recommended digital strategies (e.g., SEO, paid advertising, content marketing) and the expected results.
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and services, and secure new client agreements to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, platform changes, and competitor offerings.
B. Client Handoff and Relationship Management
Client Onboarding: Facilitate a seamless transition of new clients to the account management and service delivery teams (e.g., SEO specialists, web developers).
Relationship Support: Maintain relationships with initial clients to ensure satisfaction, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and secure referrals.
CRM Management: Accurately record all sales activities, pipeline status, and client information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.;
