• Oversee all aspects of filament production, from raw material procurement to finished product packaging
• Develop and implement production schedules and ensure that they are met
• Monitor production quality and identify and resolve any issues
• Train and supervise production team members
• Implement and maintain safety procedures in the production area
• Troubleshoot and resolve production problems
• Work with other departments to ensure that production goals are met
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepare production reports
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Inventory management-
-Inventory Planning and Forecasting: Collaborate with the production planning team to forecast demand for different filament types and colors.
-Raw Material Procurement: Establish and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers of raw materials, including polymers, additives, and colorants.
-Inventory Level Control: Develop and implement inventory control systems to track the movement of raw materials, in-progress filament, and finished products.
-Implement first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory rotation procedures to ensure that older filament is used before newer stock.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for traceability and audit purposes.
